For some unfortunate reason, I think it's most fun to invest before it's a reasonable thing that makes sense. Anyone can point at the winner after the fact, but where's the fun (and the outsized upside) in that.
X North typically engage in those early stages at ~20-50K EUR tickets. We explore larger tickets as network co-investments, with X North acting syndicator. We hedge these bets by helping our portfolio to accelerate initial sales, set up operations and sharpen brand positioning and communications.
